Anti-Human Trafficking
Supporting Indigenous people at risk of, entrenched and/or survivors of human trafficking to end the cycle of violence.
We walk alongside young people at risk of, entrenched and/or survivors of human trafficking. To break the cycle of exploitation, we have created a comprehensive approach that considers cultural nuances and addresses the root causes of trafficking within our communities.
We focus on self-love, self-compassion, and building confidence within survivors and those at risk. This fosters a sense of belonging to protect against the vulnerabilities that trafficking exploits.
We aim to:
- Equip individuals and communities with an understanding of the signs.
- Emphasize a wholistic approach to identifying potential trafficking situations.
- Provide support programs that meet individuals where they are at.

In addition to prevention-based support, we have partnered with local Victim Services and police to safely identify Indigenous people being trafficked in our communities.
Be vigilant. If you suspect human trafficking, please contact us, your local children’s aid society, law enforcement or contact a human trafficking hotline.
