Education Liaison

We work alongside youth, families, and service teams to provide a wraparound approach to best support youth in the education system.

Advocate

We advocate in specialized classroom placements, alternative learning opportunities, increasing or decreasing modified days, visuals, data tracking, modifications, understanding an Individual Education Plan (IEP), relationship building, educating the school on the barriers our youth may be facing, transition planning, attending school meetings, and ensuring the youth and family understand the information given by school board professionals.

Connect

We connect youth to an Indigenous Consultant within the School Board, ensuring the youth’s cultural needs are being met and support is being offered and given. We also support school-related transportation and funding opportunities.

Our goal is to advocate and make sure our youth are being heard and needs are being met.
